Vysokoškolský pedagog, filosof a teolog. V letech 1994-1999 absolvoval studium filosofie a teologie na CMTF UP v Olomouci, na které navázal postgraduálním studiem na PUL v Římě (2002-2004). Po návratu ze zahraničních studií získal doktorát teologie na RKCMBF UK v Bratislavě (2007). V průběhu následujících let vyučoval na řadě vysokých škol, přičemž nepřetržitě působí až do dneška v duchovní správě na severu Čech. Od roku 2015 začal vyučovat na VŠAPs v Terezíně, kde je také prorektorem pro vědu a výzkum. Je autorem řady odborných monografií a vědeckých příspěvků. V lednu 2019 úspěšně obhájil na RKCMBF v Bratislavě svou habilitační práci a byl mu rektorem této Univerzity udělen titul docent. Je členem několika recenzovaných redakčních rad, jak doma, tak v zahraničí.

University teacher, philosopher and theologist. After his graduation in philosophy and theology in 1999 he followed up with his postgraduate study at PUL in Roma. He had studied abroad until 2004. In 2007 he successfully finished his Ph.D. theology study at RKCMBF UK in Bratislava. During the following years, he had been teaching in a number of colleges and universities and he has also been continuously serving in the Church administration in northern Bohemia. Since 2015 he has been teaching at VSAPs in Terezin, he is Vice-Rector for Science and Research there. He is an author of several monographs and scientific articles. In January 2019 he had successfully defended his dissertation and was granted the title of Docent. He is a member of several Czech and also peer-reviewed editorial committees in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.
